4th Indian Landslide Congress – 2017

Landslide happens to be the most common natural hazards in the mountain regions and can result in enormous damage to both property and life every year. Hence, identification of landslide-prone areas is essential for safer strategic planning of future development activities.
Therefore, the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay organized the 4th Indian Landslide Congress 2017, which was scheduled for 8th-9th December 2017 at the IIT campus. The central theme of the conference is Rainfall, Seismicity, and Landslides.
Geo Spar also participated as a sponsor and submitted its presentation on “Rockfall: Prediction, prevention, and remedial, including various solutions for Landslide mitigation”.
