Drilling enlarges a hole of circular cross-section in soil or rock as needed in civil projects and for deep excavations.Spar Geo Infra provides drilling services across India irrespective of location and environment type for construction of diaphragm walls, dam walls, retaining walls and structures. Highly skilled and competent drillers provide the best safety approach, program and performance with modern equipment and supporting equipment like compressors, pumps and mixers.
Spar Geo Infra has the capability to drill holes ranging from 75mm to 300mm diameter, and depths up to 50m by using world-class, reliable and proven equipment. We have executed various drilling projects for prestigious clients, which includes
- L&T SUCG JV for Delhi Metro Rail tunneling at Delhi
- SEW infrastructure for Teesta hydro project at Sikkim
- Abir Infrastructure Ltd. for Teesta hydro project Phase – IIII at Sikkim
- GVK Projects Limited for Alaknanda hydro project at Uttarakhand
Grouting
Grouting is a ground reinforcement technique involving the injection of a stabilizer (cement grout) material into soil or rock to form columns of soilcrete or soilcement. Grout is a mixture of portland cement, aggregate and water to flow readily and without segregation into cores or cavities.Grout is used to give added strength by grouting to remove the structural discontinuity and add more shear strengthening. Grouting prevents tunnel run-ins, groundwater movement and soil collapse by providing soil strength and rigidity.
Spar Geo Infra has proven its competence in grouting for structural underpinning, excavation support, soil stabilization and seepage barrier by applying its skills and resources in civil projects across India:
- Soil improvement project for L&T SUCG JV in Delhi Metro Rail tunneling
- SEW infrastructure for Teesta hydro project at Sikkim
- Abir Infrastructure Ltd. for Teesta hydro project Phase – IIII at Sikkim
- GVK Projects Limited for Alaknanda hydro project at Uttarakhand
- Underground works for Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) at metro stations of Janpath, Mandi House, INA, Bhikaji Cama, South-Extension and Burari
